Compliance

Mutual trust, predictability, honesty and straightforwardness both internally and externally are fundamental principles that are firmly anchored in the Würth Group. The commitment to these values can already be found in Reinhold Würth’s corporate philosophy from the 1970s.

This is not only about compliance with all applicable rules and laws, but also about a corresponding internal attitude on the part of the employees, which is an essential building block for the sustainable corporate success of the Würth Group.

And it is precisely this inner attitude that we want to promote. At the same time, we also demand strict compliance with all applicable national and international rules and laws. In order to make this transparent to our employees as well as to our customers, suppliers and other business partners, we have derived specific rules of conduct on the basis of our corporate values, which we have summarized in the Code of Compliance of the Würth Group.

Group-wide whistleblower system

With our Code of Compliance, we are committed to behaving with integrity in our dealings with each other as well as with our customers, suppliers and other business partners. Research shows that information from third parties often leads to the investigation of economic crimes. That is why we have set up a system that enables us, in addition to employees of the Würth Group, to inform third parties of criminal acts and other serious compliance violations. This is the internet-based BKMS (Business Keeper Monitoring System).

If you wish to give us a notice via this system, you may do so by name or anonymously. However, since we are looking for open communication, we would like to encourage you to mention your name when referring to information. We will treat your information strictly confidential and take into account the legitimate interests of all parties involved.

Please create a mailbox in the BKMS system where we can contact you. This is important if you have any queries or want to supplement your message later with further information. Communication via the mailbox can also take place anonymously if desired.

The system serves solely to draw attention to suspected economic criminal acts or defined, serious compliance violations in the Würth Group. Misuse for other purposes may constitute a criminal offence.
